About Our Founders and Senior Pastor
Liberty Christian Center was founded in 1982 by the late Apostle Johnny Drumgole and Dr. Pamela Drumgole, whose unwavering faith, obedience, and passion for God’s people transformed a small Bible study into a thriving ministry that has impacted generations throughout Northeast Louisiana and beyond. Their ministry has always been rooted in the uncompromising Word of God, the power of the Holy Spirit, and a commitment to equipping believers to live victorious lives in Christ.
Under their visionary leadership, Liberty Christian Center expanded from a modest 75-seat sanctuary to a thriving ministry campus, established the Total Life Center, and founded Excelsior Christian School—all with the purpose of ministering to the whole person: spiritually, educationally, physically, and socially. Their legacy is one of faith, excellence, compassion, and Kingdom advancement that continues to shape lives today.
Following the homegoing of Apostle Johnny Drumgole in 2026, Dr. Pamela Drumgole continues to faithfully serve as Liberty Christian Center’s Senior Pastor, carrying forward the vision God entrusted to them more than four decades ago. Her heart for biblical teaching, discipleship, prayer, and community transformation remains at the center of the ministry as Liberty continues to proclaim the Gospel, develop leaders, strengthen families, and see lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ. Together, the Drumgoles’ legacy stands as a testimony that when God gives a vision, He also provides the grace, provision, and people to fulfill it.
